    Hi all,

Quick one (hopefully). Is it possible to setup the mail server to only allow the sending of emails from domains on the box.

    i.e. mydomain.com - anything@anotherdomain.com can not send through the mydomain.com account.

    Thanks in advance,
    Red.

    Go on, have a guess
Probably. You'd most likely need to write an ACL to do it, I imagine you'd need to use a lookup on /etc/userdomains taking the username from the authentication data. Could be a bit tricky, though. You'd have to do a lot of work over at www.exim.org and testing to get it right and not break things like mailing lists and script email, and of course incoming email.
