Is it possible to login into a mailbox with the alias domain? For example, if I have a page that is www.sam.com and an alias to that site from www.bob.com, is there any way in which I can enter into my account tomas@sam.com inserting as username tomas@bob.com ?

I need to know this because I moved a .com.ar site to a .com with alias on it's .com.ar, but all my clients have their outlook configured for .com.ar

    Thank you
    Tomas

As far as mail goes, parked and add-on domains are handled as completely separate domains from the primary domain (contrary to how it is treated for web pages).

And this can't be changed? I can't create the mail accounts with the '.com.ar' termination... so how can I change things so that they don't have to change their mail program?

You could set up domain forwarding for email to forward all emails at one domain to their counterpart on another domain. For example, a domain forwarder for sam.com to bob.com would mean mail for tomas@sam.com would actually be forwarded to tomas@bob.com and so forth for all email accounts.

Didn't work. They still need to type their user@sam.com as username to access the account. Thanks anyway!

Correct, it doesn't duplicate logins, only funnels mail into the proper domain.

You can not login into an email account by entering its email alias.
