I changed my dns zone on server #1 to point to server #2 and it propgated fine, long ago (first I did a whm copy account from old server to new).

Now I'm not getting any incoming/outgoing mails yet all the accounts are there anyway.

The cname entry for mail is pointing to the new server (IP) as is cname for www and A entry for domain. This is propagated fine but not sure why mail is not coming/going.

I realized if I sent outgoing to another domain, it works but incoming doesn't.

Just ot let you know, my dns zone on server #1 pointing to server # is propagated long ago and this is what I have

    domain NS ns1.domain.com
    domain NS ns2.domain.com
    localhost.domain.com A entry domain.com
domain A entry pointing to server #2
    domain mx 0 domain
    mail cname domain
    www cname domain
ftp A entry pointing to server #2

    TTL's are all 14400

Also, dnsreport was fine and dnsstuff the same. I can send outgoing but incoming nothing. Logs don't show anything incoming , and mail queue in WHM shows nothing either. Also, spam assassin is off, no filters, no fowards, no mx entry changes

I checked the rejectlog, all unroutable address (but all like noexistantusername@mydomain.com for example anyway)

I checked everything else, looks good
    /etc/localdomains
    /etc/valiases/yourdomain.com

    ran:
    /scripts/exim4 --v
    /scripts/fixeverything

    still cannot receive :(

I had a sys admin confirm that dns zone on original server is perfectly fine (which I knew anyway).

I can send out on the new server but receive nothing.

Can someone PLEASE give me a hand on this?

I nailed it down...webmail shows emails, but pop3 is not receiving in outlook (and settings have been the same all along)

How could I track this down?

Did you add the domain you moved to the /etc/remotedomains file and run /scripts/mailperm before doing the transfer ? This will tell mail not to hit the old server and go to the new one. The webmail issue seems like that might be bringing up the old server.

What IP does mail.thedomain.com resolve to ? Do you have your SMTP configured with the mail.thedomain.com or with the old server IP ?
