mail not working

    Hi there, I've done a search and can't seem to find a specific answer to my problem and have tried other methods of fixing this problem but no luck yet.

    server details:
    WHM 10.8.0 cPanel 10.8.1-R91
    Fedora i686 - WHM X v3.1.0
    latest perl version installed

    You should check /var/log/exim_mainlog for the specifc email error.

    I had something very similar this week and mine turned out to be the domain showing the error you have had for some reason been removed from the file etc/localdomains
    may be worth you taking a look just to check.

    Website Owner
    Try rm -f /etc/eximmailtrap and
    edit /var/cpanel/cpanel.conf and set:

    eximmailtrap=0

    If you still face any problem then run :

    /scripts/eximup --force

    for /var/cpanel/cpanel.conf i get the error of no such file or directory

    i'm positive this command alone fixed my problem as mail is functioning properly. thanks for the help :)
