Hello,
I recently configured 1 domain to use a unique IP address for SSL purpose. I noticed that the domain is still using server's shared IP address for outgoing emails. How can I make it use the unique IP assigned to it?

Also, is it a good idea to do so? Will it ensure that the mails are being landed in the inbox? This is important because its a business domain and used for critical emails like invoices etc.

Thanks.

Hello :)

You will need to enable the following option under the "Domains and IPs" tab in "WHM Home » Service Configuration » Exim Configuration Manager":

"Send mail from account’s dedicated IP address"

This will automatically send outgoing mail from the account’s IP address instead of the main IP address. If you turn this setting on, make sure that reverse DNS entries match the ones in /etc/mail_reverse_dns. Using this option can help an account avoid being blacklisted by remote mail servers in some cases when your primary IP address is blacklisted for SPAM.

Thank you.
