Mail Problem

    Hello,

    We have PHPBB2 set up on one of our websites. BUt we keep getting some e-mail messages bounced back but it only seems to be happening from websites like hotmail.com only.

    It wont send any messages to that domian at all .. We get this error ..

    anything@hotmail.com
    unrouteable mail domain "hotmail.com"

    Do you guys know what casued this?

    This happens when a user have exceeded maximum mail messages each domain can send out per hour.

    For example, if you have 100 as the limit each domain can send out, from the message 101 you would get unrouteable mail domain errors

    You can increase this number under "Tweak Settings" in your WHM.

    I dont think that's the problem, under "Tweak Settings" it says the following:

    The maximum each domain can send out per hour (0 is unlimited):

    I have 0 there, but I cant even send to this domain as root :confused:

    I've been working on this problem, however, when even though I didn't have the option checked, on a few servers I had a number other than 0 in there, and it was causing this issue.

    I haven't heard anyone complain since I fixed this, I'd say it's safe to assume it's resolved :)
