We have been having a number of reports of email problems on our server, although we have not noticed any problems ourselves.

When I go into Manage Mail Queue in WHM and I attempt to deliver an email I get this....

Message 12Hi6z-0007M2-00 is not frozen
delivering message 12Hi6z-0007M2-00
LOG: 0 MAIN
== [email protected] T=virtual_sa_userdelivery defer (32): Broken pipe: error while writing to /home/codeuser/mail/domainname.co.uk/linux/inbox

The &Broken Pipe& part worries me and this is happening on a large number of accounts.

We too have been getting reports of mail problems. One user deleted her mail accounts and reset them up and it worked fine after that. Of course, it would be a problem to have all clients delete their accounts and re-create them....

I upgraded to bleeding edge, may have not been needed and In /etc/exim.conf there is a call to /usr/bin/spamc change that to /usr/local/bin/spamc and it started sending mail again.

Its all gone into thin air :rolleyes:

Well in my exim.conf the path to spamc is

transport_filter = "/usr/bin/spamc"

And its located on my harddrive in

root@srv05 [/var/log]# locate spamc
/usr/bin/spamc

So i guess Im ok. Anyone know if this port is supposed to be open on the firewall? If so why?
