I was going through WHM and tweaking settings. My question pertains to the X-Abuse headers. This is what's included in a SMTP message from the box; I've only included what I have questions on:

Received: from server.example.com Received: from pool-141-***-***-***.core.com
    ([141.***.***.***] helo=MYLAPTOP) by server.example.com with esmtpa
    (Exim 4.52)
    X-Originating-IP: [85.***.***.***]
X-AntiAbuse: This header was added to track abuse,
please include it with any abuse report
    X-AntiAbuse: Primary Hostname - server.example.com
    X-AntiAbuse: Original Domain - core.com
    X-AntiAbuse: Originator/Caller UID/GID - [0 0] / [47 12]
    X-AntiAbuse: Sender Address Domain - myemail.com
    X-Source:
    X-Source-Args:
    X-Source-Dir:

Is all this mandatory? i.e. is there a way to minmize it to show the primary hostname and the originating IP? Right now it's showing the local name of the laptop (MYLAPTOP) as well as some other things.

All domain names and IP addresses have been changed but all changes are consistent.

    Thanks!

    Go on, have a guess
You'd have to edit /etc/exim.pl to change it and those changes would be lost when exim is nect updated.
