    Hey everyone!

I just installed WHM/CPANEL on a fresh server running freebsd using the following command:

    cd /home;mkdir cpins;cd cpins;wget layer1.cpanel.net/latest;sh latest )

It all went perfectly and everything was preinstalled for me.

All features work like they should work and i have not seen any bugs yet.

Although 1 thing is not working, the email that is being sent from php forms :(

I have looked in WHM at mail queue and i see 7.000 emails that failed with msg: UNROUTABLE MAIL DOMAIN.

Now i dont know how to fix this and everything that i found here on the forums was no use for me.

I own 1 domain and on this domain i resel subdomains for free..so when i add a subdomain people can login and add their own features. When they for instance add a phpbb forum and use the option to send email to people the email is not sent but its queued and i can see it in WHM.

I understand this is a known problem that mails cant be sent because of UNROUTABLE MAIL DOMAIN ?

    Does anyone got a solution?

    Thanks,

    Ley.

    Ley,

Have a look in /var/log/exim_mainlog and see if you can spot the errors for the delivery of one of them.

The best way would be to:

    tail -f /var/log/exim_mainlog

Then go and send an email from a PHP form, then check the output from the above command. The information would help solve this. Oh, and change any information in the messages that would identify your server/domain to xxxx before posting it here.

One more thing, do you have "Prevent the user 'nobody' from sending out mail to remote addresses" enabled in WHM?

Hi chirpy, thanks for your reply!#

The logfile is empty ...even after sending mail from php files.

:( I am really lost here..

Prevent the user 'nobody' from sending out mail to remote addresses is not enabled...

I'm not familiar with the FreeBSD cPanel installations (whether they're much different from RH), but is exim actually running?

    /etc/rc.d/init.d/exim restart

    Hi laura,

If you have shell access ssh to your server and type:

    /scripts/exim4

this fixed it for me :)

    You could also try /scripts/fixcommonproblems

    rgrds,
