Hi, When I looked at one of the emails in the Mail queue, I see lines in the header that bother me... (It was a typical spam message)

    1FABPB-0000hd-In-H
    mailnull 47 12
    <>
    1140204997 0
    -ident mailnull
    -received_protocol local
    -body_linecount 55
    -allow_unqualified_recipient
    -allow_unqualified_sender
    -localerror
    XX
    1

    Specifically the allow_unqualified_recipient (or sender)
There are a lot of emails in the queue that have this...

Is this normal? Or is this something the spammer is using to fool Exim into sending (or returning) the email?

    thanks for any help...

    Go on, have a guess
That fact that it is from mailnull and has:

    -localerror

Suggests that this is a bounce/error email and not the original.

Thanks, You're right, I found out that's part of "normal business".
Seems funny to say something that way in light of spam.
