Trouble accounts now seem clear and happy - well done. Update folks, and enjoy the bliss ;) (I need sleep)

This fix seems to be working however I am still seeing some very abnormal usage sizes like before. I'll have to wait and see if this is really fixed.

Yes, seems to be fixed after removing all of the maildirsize files, once new ones are created size is showing correct for all mailboxes.

Yep, just had a ticket from a client complaining of email quotas wrong, and sure enough they are.

Checked back on my original server having this problem and again the problem is there too.

Perhaps not to the extent it was before... previously usage had been listed up in the 1000+mb amounts, where as now it only seems to be a few mb out at worst, but still this is enough to take accounts over quota in some circumstances.

My ticket with cpanel has been re-opened.

Did you remove the maildirsize files from all the accounts?

It may report incorrect usage until you remove the old maildirsize file then login cPanel again to refresh the data.

Cpanel wrote to me this morning asking me to try

/scripts/generate_maildirsize --force --allaccounts

Whilst it appears to work immediately (as does removing the maildirsize file) it seems the problem comes back on some accounts later on in the day.

Im still trying to figure out whats different about the accounts its affecting.
