Hello,
after checking my DNS on http://www.dnsqueries.com/ I have this error in the mail section:

The configuration of your mail servers and your DNS are not ok! The report of the test is:
pointnet.org. -> host.pointnet.org -> N.C.
Spam recognition software and RFC821 4.3 (also RFC2821 4.3.1) state that the hostname given in the SMTP greeting MUST have an A record pointing back to the same server.

I've searched on google and on this forum, but I haven't been able to solve this error, can anyone please help?

Thanks
Alessio

That means that if the hostname is server.domain.com, then in the DNS Zone of the domain domain.com there must be an A record for server, pointing to the server's main IP.

Hello thanks for your reply, my hostname is host.pointnet.org, if I edit the dns zone for pointnet.org I see the A record:
host 14400 IN A main ip address
is it correct?
