I just updated Perl to 5.8.8.

After the install my MailScanner broke, but I fixed it by reinstalling the ClamAv perl module.

However, all the inbound mail is stuck in the mail queue.

I have not converted to maildir yet... Could that be the problem now (since Perl has been updated)?

    Also, I'm still on FC2

    thank you for any guidence...

You need to seriously think about upgrading your OS. Fedora current version is 5 but your still on 2.........
I would suggest upgrading to either Centos or Red Hat, both of which give longer "life" support .

Believe me... as soon as I get this mail queue resolved. I'm going to upgrade.

To fix that (i have the same problem) you must to upgrade WHM/cPanel to a Stable version. NOT A v.11 !!!!!

-First check the update prefs on WHM, check the box of "STABLE" versions
-Use SSH and run /scripts/upcp --force

Not check your email, you must get emails now.

    1 - go to a cp11 version you please
2 - if you run chirpy's mailscanner you will find that the modules are broken. so do a mailscanner reinstall with full perl modules check
3 - check mails if they work :)
