    Hello,

I have a client who claims the following:

"I refuse to use the mail client (squirrel mail or horde) that is provided for the emails, I have gotten several viruses from several emails, That I didn't even open!!! "

Can someone tell me how likely this would be? my server as far as I can tell is very secure and has a firewall, so could this really happen? I find it unlikely as I have hundreds of other clients and have never once had one mention anything like this.

    Any input is appreciated.

    Regards,
    Robyn

you can scan the mail folders using clamscan from ssh.

    Login to server
    get into username folder.

    cd /home/username
    clamscan -r mail
