I have just migrated to a new server, and it appears that mail will only send if I use SSL. I have tried ports 25, 26, 465 & 587. 465 & 587 will only work with SSL, and 25/26 just timeout (not even a rejection from the server)

I am not sure what to do, I am thinking that it may be a propagation issue, as the DNS is still propagating.

Is the firewall properly opened for those connections? You can rule out propagation by trying to telnet from another computer on those ports to the server's main IP, since the main IP should be working:

    telnet IP# 25
Where IP# is the server's main IP number.

Also, I would suggest checking via localhost on the machine that port 25 is working along with outgoing port 25 on the machine. You could do this by running the following on the server itself:

    telnet localhost 25
    telnet 25
The IP is that of gmail for routing, since that should be opened for port 25 connections.
