mailchannels cron notification?

i am receiving notifications emails with the following :

/etc/cron.daily/mailchannelscron:

Warning: replace is deprecated and will be removed in a future version.


what is it exactly ?!

Mailchannels is an outbound mail filtering service. We use them a lot but am not familiar with the cron. What is the contents of that cron job?

That message indicates the custom MailChannels application installed on your system is using the MySQL replace utility:

MySQL :: MySQL 5.7 Reference Manual :: 4.8.3 replace — A String-Replacement Utility

As noted in the above document, this utility is deprecated in MySQL version 5.7. I recommend reporting this to the MailChannels support team so they can consider a change to their cron job syntax in the future.
