Ran the conversion, looks like all is well finally. Curious though, that WHM shows the service names under the "restart services" section as cppop and uwimap still. I've looked and searched and read, and have found where others asked this question, but never saw an answer:

Is this normal? Should those services show up as courier-pop and courier-imap instead? Using the links shows restarting courier stuff... Running WHM 10.8.0 cPanel 10.8.1-C69.

How would you restart courier POP? Would I use /scripts/restartsrv_cppop? Or will this restart cppop instead of courier?

Thanks. I have one more question...is there a way to check the status of courier like with exim as in 'service exim status'? I notice that in pstree courier service shows up as courierlogger rather than POP or POP3, is this correct?

Go on, have a guess
I'm not aware of an existing script that shows the status in that manner. There are restart scripts for the two part of courier:

/etc/init.d/courier-authlib
/etc/init.d/courier-imap

However, neither have a status option.

This problem still needs fixed though.

After maildir, in WHM under 'Restart Services' it shows:
IMAP Server (uwimap)
POP3 Server (cppop)

I wouldn't even want to click on one of them for fear that it is going to stop whats running and restart uwimap and cppop (or error out because they no longer exist).

Could be simply an aesthetic thing - but it can cause somebody to panic :)

I have the same thing happening. Is this just cosmetic?
