maildir -courier acting as POP3 when sending out

    Hi all,

    I'm having a terrible time with the conversion.
    I'm able to VIEW items that I've sent and kept on the server, but can't get anything new when I'm using a Remote client like Outlook Express.
    I went as far as Deleting the mail account from the server and re-created it.
    I even connected from a different windows machine which had no accounts on it, but the same problem persists:

    Sent items are stored locally instead of on the server.

    This is just like using a POP3 accounts where all the sent items are put into one basket.
    Any suggestions?
    Furthermore, I have a user who is using Outlook and claims he has been experiencing many errors:

    The TCP/IP connection was unexpectedly terminated by the server.
    Protocol: IMAP
    Server: mail.client.net
    Port: 143

    Everything was working fine before the big switch.

    Any suggestions as to why I can't save to the server?

    IF however, I use squirlmail it does save on the server (well. from squirlmail it is local of course).
    I can view the items created and saved via squirllmail via Outlook Express, the only problem I'm experiencing now is the ability to save the Sent items on the server.
    Help?
