    Hi,

I am having a bit of a problem when i try to create a mailing list on my server under any account and with any skin.

You add the list and it says "Mailing List Created
The mailing list "list" on domain.com with password "pass" wa successfully created" . But when you go back to the Mailing List page there are no mailing lists displayed. I have tested this on another friends server and when they create a mailing list after the succesfull message they have another message.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance.

    Warm Regards,
    Ben

I'm also having this problem on my server. I've tried creating lists on several different domains. It tells me that it's been successful but doesn't create the list. According to the manual these are created in /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/lists. When I look in this directory there are only lists that were created several months ago. I have 2 customers wanting to create mail lists at the moment and they're getting very frustrated

CPanel is being awfully silent on this!

I am having the same problem too. It seems it might be a CPanel upgrade that broke it. Someone from CPanel should address this or at least answer the question. What good is the forum if it can't answer questions, hmmm?

    Hello Friends,

You can retrieve the list of email address of a particular mailman maillist by the following commands : Following is the path where you can find the MailMan lists on the WHM/Cpanel server
    cd /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/lists
    ./ ../ test_list_domain.com/

Then go to the following path :
    cd /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/bin

And fire the script list_members to get all the email addresses in a test.txt file.
    root[/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/bin]# ./list_members test_list_domain.com > test.txt
When you cat the file you will find the email address of the maillist of test_list_domain.com
    root@server3 [/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/bin]# cat test.txt
    v_pals@yahoo.com
    test@test.com
    testing@testing.com

    Also follow this steps :

1)Click on the Mailing Lists link in the Mail area.
2)Click on the Add Mailing List link.
3)Enter the name of the mailing list in the List Name field, the password for the list in the Password field, and the domain it is for from the Domain drop-down list.
4)Click on the Create button. The list is created in the /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/lists folder.

    Enjoy :D :p

    Vivek

What version of Mailman is included with Cpanel?

Are these bugs due to Mailman not being the latest version?
