I subscribe to a mailing list that generates a lot of messages that I would like to delete unseen.
cPanel only allows deletion based on a single header item, such as subject or author. I only want to filter mail from the mailing list, though. I have a default email address set up, and am subscribed to the mailing list under a non-existent account that is automatically forwarded by the cPanel default delivery rule.

One way I can think of to solve the problem is to create an email account the receives the mail, do the filtering there, and hack the actual mailbox on the disk to be a link to the default mailbox, so the unfiltered mail is delivered to me.

Is there a better way to do this?
