Mailing Lists Setup and Operation

I have got mailing lists setup on several domains.

Is there a way to avoid having the "from" part of the email from saying: "listname[email protected] on behalf or EmailName [[email protected]]

I would like it to say very simply from: [email protected] instead of all the add on stuff.

Also, the TO: does say [email protected].
Is there a way to have the email list to actually address it to each specific person.

Kinda like the email list responce from this forum, when I joined.
