    Hi guys,

Is there anyway to fix mailman so it won't use a lot of cpu resources ? This is what I have :

    mailman 32550 75.8 30.4 165008 153840 ? S 17:19 11:15 /usr/bin/python -

What can cause this process to jump that high ? Is it depending on type of email being sent .. or what ?

    Cheers,

I had a server that was going nuts when the mailman cron jobs ran. I finally figured out it was a corrupt database for a list. I had to just delete it. If you touched the database with any of the utilities it would almost lock the server up by eating all the RAM almost instantly.

    /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/lists

You will see your clients lists. In those folders are config.db files. That is what got so corrupted it was killing everything. Yes, you have to recreate the list if you delete it. But, the client can't use it anyway in the state it's in...
