Hi there.
I have a domain here in which the user created a mailing list with the same name as his primary user . The mailing list creation failed (at least it isnt showing up in his list manager), and now mail to him gets throough, but the sender gets the message below back:

---------------------------------------
This message was created automatically by mail delivery software (Exim).

A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its
recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:

pipe to |/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/mail/wrapper post pipebomb_pipebomb.net
generated by [email protected]
Child process of virtual_address_pipe transport returned 1 from command:
/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/mail/wrapper

The following text was generated during the delivery attempt:

------ pipe to |/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/mail/wrapper post pipebomb_pipebomb.net
generated by [email protected] ------

Mailman error: post got bad listname: pipebomb_pipebomb.net

------ This is a copy of the message, including all the headers. ------

He doesnt mind not having the list, so how bets to fix this? I assume that mailman keeps a .config file somewhere with list names, which perhaps I can delete?

Thanks Annette. I removed their entries and it all works fine now.
Good call!
