So as luck would have it, we have a salesman here with the last name of mailman, and of course his email address is [email protected]. The problem with this is that while the mailman mailing lists are enabled, all of his emails were being routed to that default mailman account. Is there an inbox or something anywhere that I can access these email through? I have hostmonster.com for our host and a dedicated server account. If anyone can help finding these emails, that would be great! According to hostmonster, the emails were successfully delivered, just to the wrong mailman. Thanks!

Hello :)

Mailing list archives are stored in the following location:

Code:
/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/archives
However, the emails are not stored unless the mailing list is actually configured. Thus, it's likely those emails are not recoverable.

Thank you.

I've just tested this scenario (sending email to mailman @ domain.com) with multiple accounts with mailman lists. I can't duplicate emails disappearing. I get a reply from mailman every time as expected:

You are not allowed to post to this mailing list, and your message has
been automatically rejected. If you think that your messages are
being rejected in error, contact the mailing list owner at
mailman-owner @ server.domain.com.
