With mailman 2.12, when a user creates a new list, this is what he gets as output:

    Mailing List Created
The mailing list Family on theberries.org with password XXXXXXXX wa successfully created.

To finish creating your mailing list, you must edit your /etc/aliases (or
equivalent) file by adding the following lines, and possibly running the
    `newaliases' program:

    ## family_theberries.org mailing list
    family_theberries.org: "|/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/mail/mailman post family_theberries.org"
    family_theberries.org-admin: "|/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/mail/mailman admin family_theberries.org"
    family_theberries.org-bounces: "|/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/mail/mailman bounces family_theberries.org"
    family_theberries.org-confirm: "|/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/mail/mailman confirm family_theberries.org"
    family_theberries.org-join: "|/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/mail/mailman join family_theberries.org"
    family_theberries.org-leave: "|/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/mail/mailman leave family_theberries.org"
    family_theberries.org-owner: "|/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/mail/mailman owner family_theberries.org"
    family_theberries.org-request: "|/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/mail/mailman request family_theberries.org"
    family_theberries.org-subscribe: "|/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/mail/mailman subscribe family_theberries.org"
    family_theberries.org-unsubscribe: "|/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/mail/mailman unsubscribe family_theberries.org"

Hit enter to notify family_theberries.org owner...
    Updated List family theberries.org

It looks like the list is created, but I am getting questions about adding all those aliases. I tried this with three different skins (x, x2 and xcontroller).

I'm getting this also...why is it telling the user to add that info to /etc/aliases? I would assume that I would have to add it to /etc/aliases and not /home/user/etc/aliases but my question is why isn't cpanel doing this itself? That doesn't make sense to me.

Cpanel already adds the correct aliases to /etc/valiases/DOMAINNAME for the user itself. (Before the latest EDGEs)

But the output that appears to the user confuses him. There is no need for it anyway except to tell the user about the emails of the mailing list.

    but it should be:
    ListName@domain.com: "|/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/mail/mailman post ListName_domain.com"

    instead of:
    ListName_domain.com: "|/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/mail/mailman post ListName_domain.com"

May be Nick could make the output something like:
    Mailing List Owner: ListName-owner @domain.com
    Mailing List Email: ListName@domain.com
    ..etc
