I see on one of our machines that mailman is not running, when I do a:

    /usr/local/cpanel/etc/init/startmailman

    I get:

Bad symbol for dirhandle at /usr/local/cpanel/etc/init/startmailman line 16

    This is on a Freebsd 6.2 machine with cPanel 11.24.4-C33795 - WHM 11.24.2 - X 3.9.

I should note that when we upgraded to 33795 exim was dead after that and would not restart, so we did a "eximup" which now has exim at 4.69#3, and that fixed exim. Not sure if this mailman thing is related.

I am seeing the very same thing. Wish I would have spent time learned perl now...

    Anyhow, I am on Freebsd 6.2 cPanel 11.24.4-C34210 - WHM 11.24.2 - X 3.9

I suspect it's a typo in the startup script. I manually started mailman with
    /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/bin/mailmanctl -s start

I know it'll bomb out again next time a restart is attempted. Probably time to open a ticket.
