I am having a problem after transferring accounts from one Cpanel server to a new one. Both running the same versions. I can't get my mailman accounts to work. I tried some of the commands you suggested and thought this one was of interest since it seems to say that it can't find master grunner whatever that is. Any suggestions?

    Thanks,

    Roger

    Code:
    root@delta [/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/bin]# /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/bin/mailmanctl -s stop
    Shutting down Mailman's master qrunner
    PID unreadable in: /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/data/master-qrunner.pid
[Errno 2] No such file or directory: '/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/data/master-qrunner.pid'
    Is qrunner even running?

From the provided output I would speculate that Mailman may not have been running at the time when the command was executed. If Mailman was active the command should have triggered it to stop, but using the command while Mailman is already stopped can result in the output shown; this is normal.

To help diagnose the issue, please let us know the following additional details:
    • What is the full cPanel version number of both systems? This can be obtained using the following command:
      Code:
      # cat /usr/local/cpanel/version && echo
    • Please check the cPanel error log and the Mailman logs for details that may help narrow the investigation:
      Code:
      /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log
      /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/logs/
    • What is the full output from the following commands when entered in the exact order listed below:
      Code:
      # /scripts/restartsrv_mailman --stop
      # /scripts/restartsrv_mailman
      # /scripts/restartsrv_mailman --status

Both Cpanels were set at : 11.25.0-CURRENT_46156

CPanel error log is too big to copy here. I'm not sure what to make of it. Don't see any reference to mailman though.

I get no response when I type in the various restartsrv_mailman commands.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for you offer of help Don. I contacted my DC and they re-installed mailman and it now seems to be working. Don't know why it was messed up but it was that way when I took over my new server and copied my CPanel accounts apparently.
