I can not access any of the /mailman/listinfo/ pages out of mailman.
I can always accesss this page the mailman/admin/

-- I am going to first list all that I have done.
    /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/bin/check_perms -f
    No problems found
    Python is working perfectly.
-- time to reinstall mail man right?
I made a backup of mailman
    rm -fr /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/
    /scripts/upcp

Then everything works properly but all of the mailing lists are lost. In this post it is suggested that I just recopy the backup directory over mailman.

Of course this does not work. SO my question is what directories inside of mailman do I need to copy over in order for the backed up email lists to work again.

    Thanks for your help.

The specific error or a URL to the error would be *mighty* helpful....

This has probably been dealt with in previous posts as well, unless of course your python install is completely hosed.

Please post the specific error / danke

    :p

    root@server1 [/etc/valiases]# /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/cgi-bin/admin
    Content-type: text/html

    &head&
    &title&Mailman CGI error!!!&/title&
    &/head&&body&
    &h1&Mailman CGI error!!!&/h1&
The expected gid of the Mailman CGI wrapper did not match the gid as set by the Web server.&p&The most likely cause is that Mailman was configured and installed incorrectly. Please read the INSTALL instructions again, paying close attention to the &tt&--with-cgi-gid&/tt& configure option. This entry is being stored in your syslog:
    &pre&
Failure to exec script. WANTED gid -1, GOT gid 0. (Reconfigure to take 0?)&/pre&
    root@server1 [/etc/valiases]#

can someoen help me fix this problem?

This thread should shed some light on this:

Wade- if you are having problems still with mailman as you've outlined above, get in touch with me and I'll delve into it.
We live in the same town!
