Well, I've been trying to upgrade my cpanel box(es) to mailman version 2.1.2, but so far no dice...

has anybody done this successfully and how? I'm running into problems related to SuExec, but I don't want to turn that off.

How did the cpanel folks do it? Any insights?

    Thanks :)

I tried removing the part of the code where it checks the uid, but then it simply decided not to do anything

Anyways, I just need to know how the cpanel folks fixed the suexec related problems.

    Anyone? :)

I belive the mailman-suexec.patch in buildapache/easyapche bundle is part of it as looking at it adds a check to the normal suexec binary to directly execute the required cgi w/o going through any of the suexec checks if the directory if its being called from the mailman directory (i haven't tried compiling a later version mailman myself yet so i am only going on visual observations and guesswork)

Yes, I noticed that. Didn't seem to change anything though.... I'll try again. If I do get it working then I'll post here.
