    I'm getting a 500 server error whenever a client clicks on a mailing list in their control panel. Here's the error output in the mailman logs:

    admin(23071): Traceback (innermost last):
    admin(23071): File &/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/scripts/driver&, line 96, in run_main
    admin(23071): main()
    admin(23071): File &/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/Mailman/Cgi/, line 138, in main
    admin(23071): mlist.Save()
    admin(23071): File &/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/Mailman/, line 856, in Save
    admin(23071): self.__save(dict)
    admin(23071): File &/usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/Mailman/, line 832, in __save
    admin(23071):, fname_last)
    admin(23071): OSError: [Errno 1] Operation not permitted

    What is going on here and is there a fix for this?

    Do a search at for this exact string:

    &OSError: [Errno 1] Operation not permitted&

    I got a lot of decent output back---- that check_perms script they mention is in:
    /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/bin , just FYI

    Or, perhaps python overall is hosed? Might want to reinstall via rpm, if so. But definitely check out what google has, it looked helpful....
