There isnt much of a newer version available yet. 2.0.9 is out but offers little. 2.1 is in final beta and will offer quite a bit of updated features. However it requires a later version of Python as well. So when it is in final release my guess is that there may be an update but other things would have to happen first.

Maybe for english speaking person is no much change on the newer version on mailman. but for all others non-english speakers is a big improvement:
