    Could it be the content? What happens if you flag it at gmail as Not Spam? Is the next one still sent to spambox?

    Please make sure you have enabled spf records for domain from which you are sending an emails to gmail. Also sometimes gmail or other mtas can block legitimate emails as spams if they are being sent through scripts, especially bulk emails. You should throttle the emails if you are sending bulk emails through script.

    It is better if you contact to gmail support and verify with them why your emails are being marked as spams.

    I have the same issue. We have tried everything including contacting gmail and sending headers of messages marked as spam. No response.

    I'm sorry I can't. If you wish, post the script here inside some code tags and someone might be able to help you out.

    why is the mail going out as "nobody@......"?

    if you use smtp authentication i am sure your problem will be solved.

    Hi

    here is the code what we are using to send

    <?php

    $fifa2010 = strtotime('2012-01-01 00:00:00'); ;
    $now = time () ;
    $result =($now-$fifa2010) ;
    $daystoGO =(int) ($result/86400);

    $daysper =(int) ($result%86400);
    $hourstoGO =(int) ($daysper/3600);

    $hourper =(int) ($daysper%3600);
    $MintoGO =(int) ($hourper/60);
    echo $daystoGO." ".$hourstoGO." ".$MintoGO;

    echo "<br />";
    echo date("Y-m-d H:i:s");
    exit();

    // multiple recipients
    $to = "user@gmail.com";

    // subject
    $subject = 'Testing Email for server';

    // message
    $message = '
    <html>
    <head>
    <title>Testing Email for server</title>
    </head>
    <body>
    <p>Here are the birthdays upcoming in August!</p>
    </body>
    </html>
    ';

    // To send HTML mail, the Content-type header must be set
    $headers = 'MIME-Version: 1.0' . "\r\n";
    $headers .= 'Content-type: text/html; charset=iso-8859-1' . "\r\n";

    // Additional headers
    $headers .= 'From: Testing Email for server <sendinguser@day3day.co.uk>' . "\r\n";

    // Mail it
    //mail($to, $subject, $message, $headers);
    echo date("Y-m-d H:i:s");
    echo "<br />Mail sent successfully<br />";
    echo date("Y-m-d H:i:s",strtotime("+1 months"));
    ?>

    any suggestions

    Got this exact same issue only I got a reply from Google about it (Hotmail/Outlook also filters to spam). Google said they are filtering it to SPAM because the Received doesn't match the "From".

    i.e. in the header it has:

    Received: from nobody by nameofmyserver.com with local (Exim 4.80)
    And the 'From' section of the email header is set to:
    From: simon@oneofthedomainsonmyserver.com

    SPF are all setup on the server and this all worked fine until a couple of weeks ago. Been looking for a solution since.

    Currently running CENTOS 6.4 x86_64 xenpv – myservername WHM 11.36.1 (build 5)
