    Hi guys,

I wonder if any of you got this in the chkservd.log ...

    See:
[Wed Aug 24 16:26:26 2005] Service check ....apache [+]...bind [+]...cppop [+]...cpsrvd [+]...exim [+]...exim-26 [+]...eximstats [+]...ftpd [+]...imap [+]...mailscanner [shell-init: could not get current directory: getcwd: cannot access parent directories: No such file or directory
shell-init: could not get current directory: getcwd: cannot access parent directories: No such file or directory
    +]...mysql [+]...syslogd [+]...Done

But if i run chkservd as root from shell, it seems fine:

The problems is probably permissions stuff... But i'm not sure what chkservd looks for and where does it looks for ...

    Any ideas ?

    Go on, have a guess
Well, you won't get any support from cPanel for it, that's for sure ;) I presume you're using my installer - if so, have you tried reinstalling using the latest scripts?

well... the problem is more weird than i though...

Sometimes, it seems to work without errors, so the problem is not permissions then...

I didn't run that one by using chkservd on shell... The problems isn,t permissions.
I'm not sure what could be the problem... a lock file ?
    I'm always on MailWatch ( reload is 30secs i believe )

Maybe it's the same "problem" as when apache appears down in whm even if it isn't... ???
