mailscanner blocking long filenames

    This seems to be a rather stupid rule:

    original test filename: alksdjflaksjflkasjd flkajsdflkajsdflkjasldkfjalskdfjlaksjdflaksjdflaksjdflkasjdflkajsdflkajsdflkajsdflkajsdflkasjldfkajsldfkjasldkfjaslkdfjaslkdfjalskdfjsdlf.doc

    Not everyone uses Microsoft mail clients. So people who aren't using MS clients are being treated unfairly. Plus it does not take into account people who send out URLs in their emails, directly from IE. Since IE uses the page titles for filename, the URL filename can be quite long.

    editing filename.rules.conf files doesn't work. What do I need to do after I have editied in order to remove the long filename limit?
