Is there any possibility to have these 2 features preinstalled on WHM/Cpanel ?

It's not pre-installed, but you can get this and install it easily:
Latest MailScanner installer [exim4 virus scanner] (unsupported) on http://layer1.cpanel.net/ seems to work really good and has clamav included.

Uncompress it into a directory and then run the installer.

Has anybody used this installer, and if so, have you seen any problems with it?

Yes I know it . However I wish to know if it's something darkorb will provide in the future , and mantain it updated.
If you have a lot of boxes you cannot lose your time installing these features an all boxes and mantain them updated ... So it could be wonderful to have it on cpanel/WHM as a standard feature .

Considering the mass virus attacks we are living in these days , these new features could be really appreciated on Cpanel/WHM !!. Probably on Cpanel 8 ;) , I hope !

When installed this way, how do you restart MailScanner? and will MailScanner automatically load on reboot?

Do RBLs work the same way after the install? WE got the Mailscanner AV install from layer1 and it works great. Only thing is it didn't like the RBLs we had in there before. Anyone have any ideas?

It did not restart for me after reboot and I could find no way to shut down MailScanner independently of Exim and restarting Exim did NOT restart it. So, I finally just followed a tutorial by somebody else to install both mailscanner and clamAV that used the MailScanner rpm's. Worked like a charm.

I'd like to see it supported on a standard install as well radio_head. I think it would be a great addition. I can see how some might want to use no virus scanner or something other than clamav, so that part should be optional with a check box. (IMHO)
Maybe a disclaimer regarding that cPanel and clamav does not guarantee all viruses will be found etc. would be in order.
