Mailscanner exim_paniclog

    I have installed mailscanner package from layer1 all works ok for about a day then i get the following in the exim_paniclog:

    Failed to create spool file /var/spool/exim_incoming/input//1Ao0Fd-0008Lh-Vt-D: Disk quota exceeded

    and no emails can be processed/delivered.

    If I then uninstall mailscanner the processing of emails returns to normal.

    I can then reinstall mailscanner and it will work ok for about a day but will then stop processing emails with the same error. I can then uninstall it again and everything works ok.

    There is plenty of diskspace free, has anyone any ideas what could be causing this



    ADDED: I'm not running quotas on any of the mounted filesystems
