In teh last few weeks, I have been having problems with MailScanner (Configserver install) that any file that has an underscore in it is blocked because is says that programs are not allowed. Considering that is a standard character used all the time in design files, and that I have not changed the rules, I am at a loss of what to change, as I do not see what has changed.

Report: MailScanner: No programs allowed (zzz_rego_b.pdf)

    Obviously not a program.

    I even tried

    Allow Filenames = \.pdf$ \.gif$ ...

Of course, I could allow all executables -but that is not desired.
    But to no avail.

Also does it in zip files.

Even if I release if from quarantine -it blocks it again -which should not be.

The Configserver forum is probably a better place for this considering it's not a cPanel product:

ConfigServer Scripts Forum - Powered by vBulletin

Not being a user of this plugin, I'd take a stab to say that it's not blocking the file because of the underscore but because of the file extension, going by the error given. This would also make sense why the attachment goes through when you add the file extension to the whitelist.

It does not unblock it, even when I add the extension.

I posted here because more people check here more often than over at configserver - I know I do.

I blocks any file with an underscore and directory names also (__MACOSX)
