I've received the following automated email to root regarding an update to the RulesDuJour used by MailScanner/SpamAssassin:

Code:
RulesDuJour Run Summary on hostname.server.tld:

EvilNumber has changed on hostname.server.tld.
Version line: # Version: 02.00.01 # The evilnumber set has been renamed to match SARE's updated standards, the new name is 70_sare_evilnum0.cf. Please remove evilnumber local language files
After doing "locate evilnum" I find the following files on the server:

Code:
/etc/mail/spamassassin/evilnumbers.cf
/etc/mail/spamassassin/RulesDuJour/evilnumbers.cf
/etc/mail/spamassassin/RulesDuJour/evilnumbers.cf.20050320-0823
/etc/mail/spamassassin/RulesDuJour/evilnumbers.cf.20050314-0824
Firstly "70_sare_evilnum0.cf" is not present. Is this good, bad or neither?

Secondly, based on the message I have received, which of the four files listed should be removed?

I've tried searching around on the forum at rulesemporium.com to no avail, neither can I find anything useful when Googling various related terms.

Any suggestions?

Go on, have a guess
Yup - ignore it ;) It's an information only message from the file and it's handled by my_rules_du_jour/rules_du_jour appropriately.
