    A strange bug on cpanel:

I have configured an account on WHM and allowed for 10 additional domains. Then I added 5 domains and for them the structure mail.additional-domain.com was working both for smtp and pop servers. Now I have added another domain, this time a long name (29 characters including extension .com). The fact is that in this case, mail.long-domain.com does not validate passwords and refuses both pop and smtp connections to the server.

It is NOT about typos in the configuration of the account, nor about the accounts being corrupt, as accessing them with the other aliases or the main domain works perfectly well.

    Any ideas?
