main account not receiving mail

Cpanel main account is not receiving mails. Exim log shows

rejected RCPT <[email protected]>: Unrouteable address

current email format is maildir . any thoughts from the experts ?

The main account belongs to the Linux user that owns the account, and as such behaves differently than other mail accounts. The main account can receive email if you set up a a forwarder that points to it at [email protected].

Example:
* username = joesoap
* domain name = mydomain.com
* servername = myserver.com

If you want [email protected] to work, then create a forwarder [email protected] -> [email protected]
