One of my clients used the "Main Account" for their eMail.

They no longer wish to get mail at the main account box. How can I close the eMail accoun?

All of the other accounts (eMails) allow for me to delete. But, the main account is the one that we wish to stop eMail.

    Thanks & God Bless,
    Oscar

    Create a file called

    .forward

add the following line to it and FTP into the defaults users shell.

    /dev/null

all mail to the default username and non-assigned alaises
    will be bypassed and removed.

Just use your ftp program to connect to the account. DO NOT click on public_html. Just edit/create the file ".forward" in the directory that pops up first.

(If you have root access, you could ssh to /home/<username>)

In this case, couldn't the user just remove his email address from main email account? oh, I guess you want to still have his contact email, huh. ;-p

    default username

This thread talks about the default username, not addon mailboxes.
