Hi,

Today i have moved few cpanel accounts on a shared ip to different shared ip. Now when i am trying to remove that free ip, it is showing "Main/shared IP for: nobody" in IP Functions »Show or Delete Current IP Addresses. I tried rebuilding httpd conf but no use.

Can any one please help me to remove the nobody from this ip.

Hello,

For starters I want to point out that cPanel does not support multiple shared IP addresses which is why you're encountering this issue most likely. Secondly, you can use the IP address migration tool to move all accounts/domains to a different IP address on the server. IP Migration Wizard | cPanel & WHM Documentation

For anyone who are facing same problem here is the solution as per Cpanel support

There were some leftover cache files in place in /var/cpanel/userdata/nobody for the IP that I moved out of the way (to /root/cptechs/93464586/ if you're curious) that kept cPanel from realizing the IP was fully released.

I then ran a rebuild of the web server configuration file, had the server double-check what IPs are set to what users, and rebuilt the IP address pool. This cleared the error
