I have a server with the following config:

    WHM 9.9.7 cPanel 9.9.8-R5
    RedHat Enterprise 3 i686 - WHM X v3.1.0

Under edit set-up -> Main Shared Virtual Host IP

I changed the address I would like all new accounts to be assigned from xxx.xxx.xxx.99 to xxx.xxx.xxx.98. I saved and confimed the change, but when I create a new account as root it assigns xxx.xxx.xxx.99 which is the old ip.

Is there somewhere else I need to make this change to get it to take effect?

    Thanks,
    Doug

That IP should be set at boot time in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts on the eth0 interface.
