Hi. I have some major IP problems... I have some screenshots which I'm sure will help.
I left all the IPs In the screenshots as they will be needed to make sense of it, so I'm hoping that will be okay.

First of all... In the show/delete ips page, it has the wrong server ip. The cPanel system settings have the right one, the one being showed in this page as the first (.95) is one of my customers ips. It just hosts a website, this servers main ip is .78

    http://helluvahost.net/ipproblems/showdeleteips.gif

As for the show/edit reserved ip list, it doesnt show my box'es first 8 ips..
those ips are NOT in /etc/ips

    http://helluvahost.net/ipproblems/reservedips.gif

and last but not least, well the view usage of ips page is just very messed up., The order is very messed up mainly... I added the .88 ip to /etc/ips in the same format as the ips starting at .208 and thats why it shows two times. When I keep in it the /etc/ips then those ips also show in the edit reserved ips.

If I can just add all my server's origiunal 8 ips to the box in the /etc/ips thats fine with me, but then the usage page will still show doubles. Any ideas?

    Thanks ahead of time.

Tried to help you but you don't want to allow anyone on the server. Best to hire someone.

I must agree with 'sawbuck', if you're not willing to let someone access your server to help you, it makes little sense to keep asking. That said, here are some very basic steps that you may have missed.

You say that your main server IP is .78 and that .95 should come after .94. Your screen shots show that .95 is your main server IP, thats why it's listed first.

Does your 'Main >> Server Setup >> Edit Setup' show .95 as your Main Shared Virtual Host IP. If it does change it to 78, if thats what you'd like all new accounts to be assigned to.

Have you tried to add your original 8 ips using the 'Add a New IP Address' in WHM? They generally don't add these during setup, it's up to the admin.

Nope... If the main server ip was set as .95 then it wouldnt be a problem. but its set as .78
the 8 original ips are on the system, and show, and customers are using all 8 of them.

Your screen shot shows .95 in blue and that means its the main IP and you say .95 "its just a normal ip, its hosting someones website". Have you tried resetting the main server IP to .78?

Sounds like you've done some changes via shell. Have you changed at /etc/ipaddrpool and /etc/ipaddrpool-?

Have you tried rebuilding the pool in WHM?

Main >> Server Setup >> Edit Setup >> Main Shared Virtual Host IP = change it to the one you want .

Look at /etc/wwwacct.conf as well and ensure ADDR is showing the correct IP.

Also which IP is bound to eth0, generally this is the IP that is not allowed to be deleted on the IP list.

Any idea how to change the original 8 ips to whichever way they should be?
