Make Horde Default Webmail for new Email Accounts

Hi there,

Is there a way of configuring Horde as the webmail for all the new future Email Addresses?

What I am asking for is for every newly created email address, when clicking check emails, to be redirected to the Horde View without any other action.

Hey there!

Sure - you can do this by editing the /home/username/.cpanel/nvdata/default_webmail_app file and changing that text to "horde" - since this is not specific to an email account, it will apply to all future addresses you create.

I will say that we are likely going to remove Horde at some point, so this may not be an ideal long-term solution.
