To update my site, I go to mydomain.com/cpanel and type in my username and password. Then I do everything in the file manager, HTML writing by hand.

I want to let my sister have a webpage of her own. How would I make an account for her? I added an FTP user 'claire', specifying the folder that she is allowed to edit in, but logging into the main cPanel it did nothing.

How do I make a user that can use the file manager?

    Go on, have a guess
You can't have multiple logins for the same cPanel account. You would have to install a CMS within the account itself.
