Hi, I have a few real mail accounts like "support" and "billing" and I would like to also have them forward to my gmail account so I can receive them on my Android phone as soon as they come in.. I know android has imap access but it only gets mail every 15 minutes. Is there a way to make this mail forward?

Why not just setup both on your android phone using IMAP directly?

As I said.. imap with the mail client on android only gets mail every 15 minutes and you cannot set it any shorter.

Have you had a look at the forwarders page?

So, if you have joe@domain.com and you want to forward to joe@gmail.com and joe@domain.com is a valid account, you create a forwarder in the Forwarders section of your cPanel to joe@gmail.com

Then send joe@domain.com an email to test it.

joe@domain.com and joe@gmail.com should both recieve an email.

What I'm confused about is how this'll help you get mail faster if the phone you're checking it on only checks every 15 minutes?

    Anyway, hope that helps.

Ok, I was not sure if the forwarders page only applied to email addresses that do not currently exist. And the gmail app by google alerts within a few seconds of new emails and works differently than the imap/pop3 program does.
