Making subdomain: works like redirect

Hello,

I made subdomain for my website. For example, sub.domain.com redirects to domain.com/sub . But when going to sub.domain.com , in adress bar of browser it automatically shows domain.com/sub . And when entering sub.domain.com/file/to.mp3 , it automatically redirects to domain.com/sub/file/to.mp3 . why? i dont wanna redirect, i want real working subdomain...

Looking forward to your answers...

In normal cases it shud not be redirected to the folders. so some redirections are set in .htaccss file. So please check the .htaccss files under the subdomain and delete the redirections if present.
