My web host manager shows as insecure and when I click it I get
"The certificate is not trusted because it is self signed.
The certificate is only valid for localhost.localdomain.

    (Error code: sec_error_untrusted_issuer)"

How can I make it secure please

it is unsecure because it is self signed, i.e. You will have to buy an SSL certificate for the hostname if you want the error to go away.

You are receiving the browser warning to let you know the cert is self signed. This is perfectly fine in this situation. Just allow the cert to run and accept the error. Information sent will still be encrypted. Situations where it would not be OK would be online banking and payment for example.
