    Even though email flag are correctly set in conf.maldet and they have not been changed lately, since some days, Maldet is not sending alert mail anymore
    email_alert="1"
    email_addr="email-address"

    By the way I also noticed that
    maldet -co email_addr="email-address"

    is not changing anything in conf.maldet

    (sending report by email is working, es. maldet --report SCANID email-address
    is working correctly)

    Anyone knows about alert mail issue ?

    Hello,

    You could search /var/log/exim_mainlog to see if the message is filtered before reaching the intended inbox. Here's an example of searching /var/log/exim_mainlog via the command line:

    Code:
    exigrep user@domain /var/log/exim_mainlog
    Keep in mind Maldet is a third-party application.

    Thank you.

    Hallo, thanks for answering
    Infact there was no filtering change in exim
    Suddenly, some days ago, alert mail started to be correctly delivered again
    I suppose everything was because of a maldect updating not working properly

    In future, if you have an issue with maldet, you can report it to them via their github - they are very responsive and helpful over there.

    I think you are right about this. I had noticed that two particular updates within the past month or so ended up causing me to no longer receive maldet reports. The last update seems to have fixed it.
